For everyone caring for someone they love

Peace of mind for the people you love

Tammen is an app that reminds your loved ones when it’s time for their medication, and shows you they’ve taken it — without calling every few hours to ask.

An ordinary day with Tammen
  1. 9:04 am

Mom took her morning medication. You were still in your meeting.

  2. 2:10 pm

Afternoon dose: taken. Not a single call.

  3. 9:30 pm

You called to ask about her day — not about her pills.

That’s the whole difference.

01The idea

Reminders are the tool.
Peace of mind is the point.

Any alarm can ring. What matters is knowing the dose was actually taken — while you’re at work, at home, or travelling.

Without Tammen

  • You call 3 times a day to ask, “Did you take your medicine?”
  • The answer is “yes” — and you’re still not sure.
  • The worry stays with you all day.
  • And the person you care for feels watched.

With Tammen

  • You open the app and know in a second.
  • Every dose shows “Taken” or “Not yet”, with the time.
  • You call to ask how they are, not about their pills.
  • And the person you care for taps one button — no questions, no lectures.

02Features

Everything you need to rest easy

Five simple things, built to take the same worried question off your plate.

  • Dose reminders

A clear alert at every dose time, answered with one tap: “Taken” or “Not yet”.

  • Care team

Add your siblings or anyone who helps with care. You all see the same picture, so nobody has to ask twice.

  • Stock tracking

Tammen counts pills with every “Taken” and lets you know before the box runs out, so you can refill in time.

  • Doctor appointments & notes

Save the next check-up, and keep your questions for the doctor and notes from each visit in one place.

Health logs

Log weight, blood pressure and blood sugar, and see them on a simple chart to take to your doctor. Tammen only records and displays — reading and interpreting the numbers is your doctor’s job.

  • Weight
  • Blood pressure
  • Blood sugar
Example of logged weight readings Seven weight readings over one week, shown as a line without any judgement or rating.
Latest reading: 77.6 kg Logged for 7 days

04Who it’s for

Made for everyone in the story

The person caring, the person managing their own medication, and the one who needs it as simple as possible.

  • Caregiver

    If you’re like Mona

Mona works and runs her own home, and her mother lives alone. In the morning she opens Tammen, sees “Taken” next to the morning dose — and gets on with her day, reassured.

    • Knows without calling
    • Shares the care with her siblings
  • Using it for himself

    If you’re like Hossam

Hossam takes daily medication, and his schedule jumps between work and travel. He uses Tammen for himself: reminders on time, a counter for each box, and readings ready for his doctor.

    • Doesn’t miss a dose in the rush
    • Readings ready on check-up day
  • The patient — very simple for older users

    And Hajja Soad

Large text, large buttons, and one question: “Did you take your medicine?” No lists, no settings. Hajja Soad taps “Taken” — and Mona rests easy.

05Trust & privacy

Honest with you from the start

Peace of mind can’t be built on vague promises. So here’s what Tammen does — and what it doesn’t.

  • Your data is yours

Built on the principles of Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL — Law No. 151 of 2020). Only the people you add to the care team can see someone’s data.

  • A tracker, not an advisor

Tammen reminds, records and displays. It doesn’t tell you what to take, doesn’t judge any reading, and doesn’t replace your doctor or pharmacist.

  • Honest statuses

A dose is taken, not yet taken, or missed. We will never mark a dose “Taken” when it wasn’t.

    • Taken
    • Not yet
    • Missed

Frequently asked questions

No. You or the patient enter the medication, dose and times exactly as the doctor prescribed, and Tammen only reminds and records. Any question about the medication itself belongs with your doctor or pharmacist.

No. Tammen records the reading and shows it on a chart so you can share it with your doctor. Reading and interpreting the numbers is your doctor’s job.

Only the people you’ve added to the care team.

The patient screen has one question and two big buttons. And if nobody answers, the dose stays “Not yet” on your screen — so you know when it’s time to call.
